Move master controller Handle to IDLE 
And Press AEB Reset to release Brake 

RESTRICTIONS 

Motoring not permitted till the master handle is brought to IDLE and 
loco speed is dropped below 10 Kmph (set value).  

ALARM BELL 

5 sec. 

RESET LEVEL 

LOW, Manual 
If the fault condition is still present when cleared manually, the fault 
will be generated again. 

FAULT 
RECOVERY 

Automatic when the loco speed is dropped below 10 kmph (set value) 
and master handle is brought to IDLE.   

PROBABLE 
CAUSES 

Actually this is not a fault in the locomotive performance. This is a 
warning message to driver that penalty brakes are applied due to Loco 
speed is increased beyond the set limit and ‘Auto Emergency Brake 
system’ feature is enabled. 
Whenthis feature is enabled, Driver should control the loco speed 
within the set limit other wise system initiates penalty brakes.  

FAULT 
ISOLATION 

Bring the master handle to IDLE.  
Wait till loco speed is dropped below 10 kmph (User settable) and 
Press AEB reset push button to release penalty brakes.
