After manual reset if the fault still present, the fault will be generated
again.
FAULT
RECOVERY
Automatic when Master Controller Handle is brought to Idle. Automatic
Fault Reset is permitted for maximum 3 times in an hour, after which
manual clearing is required.
PROBABLE
CAUSES
1. Defective power contactor P21. Power contactor picking up but main
contact tips are not closing.
2. Foreign materials (Insulation) in REV contacts.
3. Foreign materials (Insulation) in BKT contacts.
4. Tr. Motor cables burnt or disconnected
5. Tr. Motor open circuited internally.
FAULT
ISOLATION
1. Ease the throttle and Switch OFF GF switch. Remove the archute of
P21 power contactor.
2. Operate the power contactor either through display unit by
selecting the manual test for outputs or by manually operating
power contactor. Check and ensure the main tips are closing
correctly and there is no obstruction in between.
3. Manually operate BKT to braking side and REV to non-working side.
Check up thoroughly any foreign materials are fallen in between
contacts of BKT and REV like insulating tape etc. (Especially BKT 1
st
contact. REV No.6 contact.)
4. Check up under truck cable joints of Tr. Motor 6 for any burnt /
disconnected cables. If found replace / attend the cables. Remake
the joints.
5. Disconnect the TM cables and check for continuity of field and
armature. If any open circuit is found, replace the motor.
