DESCRIPTION
FAULT CODE
1062
FAULT MESSAGE Battery Voltage HIGH Fault
RESTRICTIONS
Battery charging prohibited.
ALARM BELL
Continuously ON
RESET LEVEL
Low, Manual
After manual reset if the fault still present, the fault will be generated
again.
FAULT
RECOVERY
Automatic when the battery voltage is less than the set limit by 2 Volts
for 15 seconds.
PROBABLE
CAUSES
1. The battery charging voltage is more than the set voltage.
Normally this message is followed by ‘Aux.Gen. Voltage High’. Fault
code 1141.
FAULT
ISOLATION
1. Switch off AGFB. And reset the fault.
2. Change the display mode to ‘Auxiliaries’ under display menu option.
3. Measure battery voltage with a voltmeter. If the measured value is
equal to the displayed BATV value and is less than 69V, then the
fault is transient.
4. If the displayed value is more than the measured value, the voltage
sensor is bad. Replace the sensor.
5. Switch ON AGFB and observe the AGAV on the display. If AGAV is
72 Volts, then the fault is transient.
6. If AGAV is more than 72Volts, trouble shoot for Aux. Gen.Voltage
High. Refer fault code No. 1141. ‘Aux. Gen. Output Voltage High
FAULT’
