Solenoids AV, BV, CV, DV or Their Wiring faulty

RESTRICTIONS

Warning only.

ALARM BELL

RESET LEVEL

Low, Manual
If the fault condition is still present when cleared manually, the fault
will be generated again.

FAULT
RECOVERY

Automatic when the Engine RPM is found to be with in set limits.

PROBABLE
CAUSES

1.  Erratic engine RPM.
2.  Governor amphonal plug is slack.
3.  Defective wiring

FAULT
ISOLATION

1. Check the engine RPM with a standard RPM meter in notch 2.
2. If RPM is more or less by 35 RPM, than the set Notch 2 RPM (450

default), adjust the RPM in the Governor so that the RPM is with in
the set limit.

3. If the measured RPM is not as per notch and erratic,

A. Check the slackness of Governor amphonal plug. If slack tighten

the plug.

B. Check the wiring of the governor amphonal plug at the backside

TB.

C. Check the continuity of the wires 15A, 12A, 7C and 3A from TB

to the Governor amphonal plug pins. If necessary replace the
amphonal plug wiring.

D. Check for correct sequence of solenoids (AV, BV, CV and DV)

operation in the governor as per the notch. If necessary change
the governor.
