holes through channel and angle.
Attach angle to channel with rivets.
(11). Position nutplate support on left
channel and left angle and determine
attach hole locations. Drill six 0.1285
inch (3.2639 mm) rivet attach holes
through support and channel. Attach
nutplate support to left channel with
rivets. Also, drill four 0.098 inch
(2.4892 mm) rivet attach holes through
nutplate support and angle. Attach
support to angle with rivets.
(12). Attach E27 ground stud screw, lock
washer, and jam nut to nutplate
support; then place washers on ground
screw and secure washers with nut.
(13). Using screws and washers, attach
relays to nutplate support.
(14). Attach bus with RNF100X1/2 sleeving
(CM614) to terminals K302-A1 and
K303-A1 on relays. For detailed wiring
instructions, refer to Electrical Wiring.
(15). Attach diode to terminals K302-X1 and
K302-X2 on relay. For detailed wiring
instructions refer to Electrical Wiring.
(16). Using adhesive (CM438) bond chafe
strip to bracket as shown in Figure 201.
(17). Using bolts, washers and nuts, attach
bearing plate to support.
(18). Using screws, and washers, attach
clamp halves and seal to support.
Install bolts, washers and nuts in
clamp halves, but do not tighten bolts
at this time.
(19). Using sealant (CM425), seal box formed
by support and left and right brackets,
and compartment frame so that lower
support is watertight.
NOTE:
Do not cover clamp halves or external
wiring cable access hole with sealant.
F. Compartment Floor and Upper Support
Modification
(1). Position channel on existing floor
channels at pilot's right side floor
compartment and determine attach
hole locations for center channel,
supporting angles, and filler. Drill 0.098
inch diameter rivet attach hole as
required and attach channel, angles,
and filler to existing floor channels with
rivets.
NOTE:
Make certain that filler is positioned on
left side of center channel between support
angle and existing channel.
(2). Position left and right channels be­
tween existing floor channel on forward
side of pilot's floor compartment and
center channel, and determine attach
hole locations for left and right chan­
nels and supporting angles. Drill 0.098
inch diameter rivet attach holes as
required and attach left and right
channels and support angles to center
channel and existing floor channel with
rivets.
(3). Position web with floor pan on existing
floor channels and on left and right
channels, and determine attach hole
locations. Drill 0.098 inch (2.4892 mm)
rivet attach holes as required and
attach web, pan, and straps on floor
channels and left and right channels
with rivets.
G. Circuit Breakers and Caution Light
Installation
(1). Remove attach screws from lower
switch and circuit breaker panel on
instrument panel. Pull out optional
equipment panel and remove plug
buttons from holes provided for circuit
breakers and caution light assembly.
(2). Install caution light assembly and lamp
in hole identified by decal marked
EXT-PRESS TO TEST.
(3). Install 5 amp circuit breaker (CB128)
in hole identified by decal marked
CONT.
(4). Install 35 amp circuit breaker (CB127)
in hole identified by decal marked
PWR.
(5). Connect electrical wiring on circuit
breakers and caution light assembly
(Ref. Table 901, Figure 202).
