(c). Verify security of attachment of cap
screw and nut.
(d). Verify security of attachment of
bracket base.
(6). To replace a lamp, proceed as follows:
(a). Wash lamp with naphtha (CM220) to
remove oil, grease, or any other
foreign matter and air dry.
(b). Apply coat of adhesive (CM408)
around rim of lamp and over area
opposite cap screw. Allow to cure.
(c). Attach wires securely with screws
furnished with lamp.
(d). Insert lamp into housing, and press
lamp retainer into position.
(e). Replace four screws and locknuts.
5. Float Lamp Housing Replacement
(Ref. Figure 201 and Figure 203)

Item Nomenclature
CM220 Naphtha aliphatic
CM408 Adhesive, silicone rubber
(1). Remove lamp per Float Lamp Replace­
ment.
(2). Back off conduit nut and washer.
(3). Slide wires out of lamp housing.
(4). Remove nut, washer, spacer and bolt.
(5). Align holes in bracket and lamp
assembly bracket, and install spacer,
bolt, washer and nut. Do not tighten.
