(b). Positions 1 thru 5:
Enables transmitting via selected
customer avionic equipment
(comm./nav. comm.) when rocker
switch on cyclic stick or toggle switch
at observer station is pressed to
RADIO position.
(4). HOT MIKE Toggle Switch:
When in HOT MIKE position, permits
hands-free communication on the
interphone line. All speech will be
applied to the interphone line, and the
settings of the transmitter select switch
will have no effect. Any noise picked up
by the microphone will also be heard on
the interphone line.

C. C − 6533/ARC ICS Control Panel Operation
(1). To turn ICS control panels on, close ICS
circuit breaker(s) (push in).
(2). To select receiver, set appropriate
receiver monitor toggle switch to ON.
Adjust VOL control to comfortable
level.
(3). To select transmitter, rotate transmit­
ter select switch to the appropriate
position (1 thru 5).
(4). To enable intercom operation, rotate
transmitter select switch to ICS
position.
(5). For hands-free operation, set HOT
MIKE switch to ON (up). This enables
voice transmission without pressing
rocker switch on cyclic stick or toggle
switch at observer station to ICS
position.
(6). To turn ICS control panel off, set all
receiver select switches and HOT MIKE
switch to OFF. Open ICS circuit
breakers (pull out).
