1. C heck under the hood area to m ake

certain all filler caps are in place and
all loose item s (e.g. tools, oil
containers, etc.) have been rem oved.

2. C lose the hood so th at it locks securely.

Key-Operated Trunk

To open the trunk lid, insert the prim ary
key into the slot and turn it clockw ise.

T he secondary key w ill not operate this
lock (page 3-2).

To  close,  use both hands  to push the  lid
dow n until the  lock  snaps  shut.  D o n ’t
slam  it.
T hen pull up on it to m ake sure it’s secure.
