In sert the cassette tape into the slot, open
edge to the rig h t and cassette tape w ill
begin play and "TAPE" w ill be displayed.
A t the end o f the cassette tape, the unit
autom atically reverses cassette tape play.
W hen A is lit, the c assette ta p e ’s top side
is playing. W hen Y is lit, the bottom
side is on.
N O T E
W hen a m etal tape is inserted, the
player w ill autom atically com pensate
for it and "M TL" w ill be displayed.
P la y in g
Press the cassette tape play button
(MDH-APE) to start playing w hen a
cassette tape is in the unit. If there is n ’t a
cassette tape in the unit w hen the cassette
tape play button (M D nA PE ) is pressed,
"N
o
TAPE" w ill flash on and o ff in
sequence.
D o lb y no ise re d u c tio n
W hen using a tape w ith D olby N R *, push
the D olby N R button ( H ). T he m
sym bol w ill be displayed. To play a tape
w ithout D olby N R, p u sh the button once
again.
