Seat Belt Systems

▼ Automatic Locking Mode

A lw ays  use the autom atic  locking m ode to keep the child-restraint  system  from   shifting to
an unsafe position in the event o f an  accident.  To get the  seat belt into the autom atic
locking m ode, pull it all the w ay  out and  connect it as instructed on  the child-restraint
system .  It w ill retract dow n to the child-restraint  system  and  stay  locked on  it.  See the
section  on child restraint (page 2-18).
