6.7 Setting up

6.7.1 Lower the boom completely

In work mode, the boom can only be lowered to a certain angle.

The boom has to be lowered completely for the setup operations.

Risk of machine damage due to improper operation of the

load hook when the limit shutdown is bypassed
–

When the lifting limit switch is bypassed, lift the load hook

slowly.

–

Maintain the specified safety distance between the load

hook and the pulley head.

–

When the load hook is resting on the ground, do not con-

tinue lowering the hook.

When the boom limit shutdown is bypassed, the load hook

hits the pulley head. This can cause severe damage to the

machine. The rope is damaged if the joystick is tilted further in

the

[Lower hook]

direction when the load hook is resting on

the ground.
