METHOD FOR CLEANING LINE FILTER AND REMOVING DIRT

If any abnormality is found in hydraulic components such as pumps, remove the dirt from the line filter as fol-
lows.
Before removing the line filter, release the internal pressure in the hydraulic circuit by referring to “METHOD
FOR RELEASING PRESSURE IN ACCUMULATOR”.
The line filter is at the position shown with the arrow.

1.

Remove the bolts (1) (4 pieces), and remove the flange
(2).

2.

Remove the bolts (3) (4 pieces), screw 2 of the removed
bolts into the temporary bolt hole (5) temporarily.

3.

Remove the cover (4), and clean the filter (6). For cleaning
the filter, remove the plug (7) and clean the dust stuck to
the side of the case.

4.

Assemble the cleaned filter (6). Replace the backup ring
(8), O-rings (9), (10), and (11) to the new ones when instal-
ling the filter, cover, and flange.
After assembling the filter, bleed air by referring to “METH-
OD FOR BLEEDING AIR FROM HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT”.
