NOTICE
Do not stop the engine abruptly except in an emergency.
Otherwise, the service lives of component parts of the en-
gine will be reduced.
If the engine is overheated, do not try to stop it abruptly
but run it at medium speed to allow it to cool down gradu-
ally, and then stop it.
If the engine is stopped during the aftertreatment devices
regeneration, the components may be damaged.
Stop the aftertreatment devices regeneration, and run the
engine at low idle for approximately 5 minutes before stop-
ping the engine. Then stop the engine.
Stop the engine according to the following procedure.
1.
Set the lock lever to LOCK position (L).
2.
Run the engine at low idle for approximately 5 minutes to
cool down the engine gradually.
3.
Turn the starting switch key (1) to OFF position (A), and
stop the engine.
4.
Remove the key from the starting switch (1).
