The training sequence needs to have the following structure:
• Send PACP Test Mode Request (

• Configure Rx transmission Mode, Gear, etc.
• Configure Tx transmission Mode, Gear, etc.
• Transmit Test Pattern with Equipment (

TestDataFrame

macro).

• Request Frame and Error Counter (

GetReq(…)

macro, registers 15C0

and 15C1).

NOTE

In addition to the

M8020A

and the

DSGA

, a BIT-2100 Switch system is

required to alternate the DUT Rx input between the two generators.
