8.6.7 Flow rate control
With the operating mode
Flow rate control, it is possible to vary the flow rate through adjustments
to the airend speed.
This always refers to the intake volume. As a reference, the flow rate can be based on either inlet
conditions or standard conditions.
The SIGMA CONTROL 2 calculates the flow rate from the airend speed, with the aid of measured
values and machine-dependent parameters.
As per DIN, standard conditions are defined as follows:
■ Temperature: 0 °C
■ Pressure 1.01325 bar
■ Relative humidity 0%
As per CAGI, standard conditions are defined as follows:
■ Temperature: 20 °C
■ Pressure 1.01325 bar
■ Relative humidity 36%
