c) Make sure the chains are lubricated and stretched to the desired voltage;
d) Check that the protections are properly mounted planter;
e) Recalibrate the tire pressure;
f) Walk with a planter for about 10 meters and make sure the joint transmission are working normally.

g) Operate the ratchet levers to connect and disconnect the drive system of the planter;
h) Ensure that the conductors of fertilizer are properly secured;
i) Move the tensioning adjustment of exchange rates of fertilizer and seed;
j) Check operation of metering seed boxes, consider whether the tabs are free. Because painting can cause
the machine to crash and the same case is locked, make cleaning scraping excess paint, leaving free the tabs;
CAUTION:
The implement operational work should work with the guards and safety devices.
If you need to make any adjustments on the implement, before positioning the machine to
the ground, make sure there’s no one next to the implement.
Operate the hydraulic system of the tractor and lower the implement, then lay it on the
ground using the adjustable feet.
Do not make adjustments to the implement in operation.
k) Open deposits of fertilizer and seed and make sure that no foreign bodies;
l) Connect the hydraulic system by raising and lowering the planter. Do the same procedure with
the line markers.
CAUTION:
Before starting the hydraulic system to drive the marker lines, remember to remove the
retaining pin marker to the frame of the planter used for transportation.
4.6.1 - Adjustments of line markers:
To place the regulation of the marker lines, it is important to keep the same gauge as the front and rear of the
tractor “B” and set the spacing of planting “E”. (Fig. 042).
Then use the formula below to set the distance of the marker.
4.6.2 - Maths to determine the distance of the marker:
Example:
To plant 09 rows of the planter, spaced 0.45 m gauge front tractor with 1.42 m, determine the distance of the
marker lines.
D = 0,45 x (09 + 1) – 1,42
