To effect the coupling of the planter tractor, it is necessary that these feet “A” and the mechanical lift “B” (Fig.
024) are supported and fixed to the ground.
Proceed as follows to attach the planter to the tractor:
a) Level the header of the planter hitch relative to the tractor bar regulatory the header using the ‘A’ (Fig. 019)
and the mechanical lift “B” (Fig. 025).
b) With the tractor in reverse gear slowly closer to the tractor planter. Stay attentive to the tractor brake.
c) Do the hitch of the planter tractor fixing the hitch pin and a steel latch.
ATTENTION:
Before engaging the hydraulic hose, make sure the quick coupler is free of impurities. Avoid
contamination of the hydraulic oil tractor.
To engage or disengage the hoses from the hydraulic system, make sure the cylinders are relieved with
the system oil pressure, not to provoke the locking sleeves of the quick coupler.
To disengage the tractor hydraulic flexible, keep the plastic protective caps attached to the quick hitch.
4.1.1 - Coupling the planter to the tractor
Before attaching the planter tractor to note if the tractor is equipped with set of weights on the front or weights
in the front wheels to prevent the same empine when operating with the planter. Also check the type of coupling that
your tractor has bar. For the coupling of the planter, the use of the drawbar by step and head (Fig. 023) that offers four
options to hitch the implement (Fig. 024) is required:
1. Step down, with the head up;
2. Step and head down;
3. Step up and head down;
4. Step and head up.
CAUTION:
The draw rod header “A” (Fig. 026) has three attachment points allowing to couple the coupling “B” in
two positions, making this way coupling to the drawbar of the tractor.
