4.14.5 - Deep Drivers
The system of depth control of seeds is done through the regulator “A” (Fig. 081) that has rocker system that
allows the adjustment of the depth of 7 7 mm. It comes with the planter assembly of the parent band 95x10 - Standard
(Fig. 082) still having the option to supply with band 4.1 / 2x15 (Fig. 083), Which has larger and different profile dimen -
sions allowing closer to double discs and greater contact with the straw, hindering the bushing.
ATTENTION:
The depth regulator allows the arms to maintain the bands of compacting the soil leveled lines, permitting
the deposition of the seed at the desired depth. After determining the desired depth of seed deposition make
the same adjustment in all sowing units.
The settings and choose the type of tamper band is producer responsibility, subject to the needs and
growing conditions.

4.14.6 - Floating Compactors V
Performs the groove side pressure causing the soil to make the seed coat with little compression, facilitating
the germination and growth of the plant.

pressure on the press bands.
Adjusting the angle of coverage of the groove made by the movement of the lower lever “B” as it is positioned

4.14.6.1 - Regulating compactadora band depth
Regulation is necessary to pull the lever to the desired setting depth.
If you want to get a shallower depth, move the lever to the first hole.
If you want to get a deeper depth, move the lever backwards, always positioned at the desired depth.
The position of each control is a step 7mm to 7mm, 49mm total.
ATTENTION:
For adjusting the angle of coverage and pressure bands on the ground, consider the soil type, the type
of seed and planting depth, not to affect the free emergence. Make the same adjustment in all rows.
DANGER:
When the soil is with excess moisture not use the compactor in “V” very closed, it may withdraw the
seed furrow leaving exposed soil.
