4.2 - Procedure for assembling the units seeders
The long half sowing units leave the factory disassembled as follows:
Short planter units
:
The compactors floating “V” come disassembled (Fig. 030).
Long planter units:
The long seeding units are hidden upward (transportation mode). To perform the assembling, proceed as
follows:
a) Release the bolt that attach the pantograph upper arm “A” (Fig. 031) and perform the line turning until position it on
the soil, tighten the bolt in the hole “B” of the Pantograph lower arm to the hole “C” of the Line frame.

ATTENTION:
Accompanies the planter two shims regulating the course of the rod, which are used to define the load
(more or less) the planter on the cutting units, seeder and fertilizing. The determination of the use of shims or
not regulating the course of the hydraulic cylinder must be set according to local conditions.
No shim: more pressure on the planter planting units (compacted soils, with much straw, etc.);
- A shim: intermediate pressure on the planter planting units;
- Two wedges: less pressure on the planter planting units (soft soils without much straw, etc.).
ATTENTION:
After making the frame level of the planter into the soil, make the leveling and pressure regulation of the
pantograph arms of sowing units.
CAUTION:
Never disconnect the hydraulic hoses, if they are under pressure. The oil pressure can
pierce the skin or infect any existing injury. This occurring, immediately wash the affected with
warm running water and mild soap location, then get medical attention.
CAUTION:
Do not allow the presence of any person or animal coming to the implement, when activating
the hydraulic system to raise and lower the implement.
