SAFETY IN TRANSPORTING AND IMPLEMENT STORAG
1-When driving on the road or highways, always drive the tractor/implement on the right lane of
the road, keeping the speed compatible and safe.
2-Before moving on roads with the implement, operate the hydraulic system and collect the grain
discharge spout.
3-When transporting from an area to another, make it with the machine empty.
4-Take care when transport with implement under eletrics line.
5-Shifting with the tractor / implement on public roads or highways, observe traffic rules and safety,
check height and width permitted for transport.
6-The long distance transportation must be made on the truck, wagon, etc. following the transpor-
tation rules and safety instructions.
7-Keep people away from the loading operation.
8-Frequently check the traffic in the rear side, specially in turns.
9-Use the headlamps and flashing warning lights day and night.
10-Avoid traffic accidents.
11-Use proper ramps to load or unload the equipment. Do not use bounds, because they can
cause damages to the equipment and cause severe accidents.
12-In the case of movement of any part such as the Munck or Guindauto, use the proper points
for lifting.
13-Use the adjustable feet and castors to support the implement properly the floor of the vehicle
transport.
14-Chock the wheels properly implement.
15-Use moorings in quantity enough to immobilize the implement during the transportation.
16-Check the load condition in the fi rst 8 to 10 kilometers of travel, later inspect each 80 to 100
kilometers.
17-Check if the moorings are not getting loosen and the tires locks are properly attached in the
truck or wagon’s floor. In bumpy roads, check the load conditions with more frequency.
18-The tread ratchet drive chain must be removed to transport the machine at distances greater
than 3 km. Failure to observe this orientation can lead to premature wear of the teeth of the tread drive
ratchet.
