ATTENTION:
After a speed change made in exchange, make sure that
the support is maintaining the tensioned spring, in case if the
tensioner is well fixed and the chain properly tensioned.
DANGER:
Protective covers the exchange of fertilizer, can only be opened for the implementation
of the fertilizer dosage adjustment, lubrication, repair or adjustment, the end of which should be
mandatorily replaced. (NR-31, item 31.12.5)
4.12.3.2 - Recommendations dosages and measurements of fertilizer
For best results the fertilizer metering accuracy, measurement / calibration should be performed, as follows:
a) Before filling the tank of fertilizer make sure the fertilizer does not show stones or other elements that may
damage the fertilizer distribution system Always use a strainer disposed in deposits of fertilizer planter;
b) Make sure the fertilizer spreaders are completely clean, having no obstructions (rocks, tunnels or crusts
formed by the fertilizer) Also check the hoses, and fertilizer drivers of double discs or planter;
c) Make sure the worm drives have not suffered damage due to a possible compression caused by stones,
bolts and other elements that may occasionally have entered the deposit of fertilizer;
d) The first measurement should never be regarded as definitive;
e) The other calibrations should be made under normal working conditions;
f) Always use the same parameters and measurement conditions (type of fertilizer, grain size, moisture, reser-
voir level, etc.) to obtain a comparative result;
g) To carry out the collection, the fertilizer must be willing evenly, avoiding segregation (separation of the grain
and powder).

To make the change of speeds rates of fertilizer, proceed as follows:
a) Loosen the tensioner lever, until it becomes loose “A” (Fig. 063);
b) Loosen the rubber support of the driving gears and moved from Exchange “B”, and move the gears until
they are the desired position (see table fertilizer distribution);
c) Align the driving and driven gears, put the chain on the gears chosen according to the distribution to be
made, pull the lever on the top turnbuckle to the most appropriate lock;
d) Attach the rubber support again, setting the gears.
The chain tensioner has a torsion spring autocompensadora “C” (Fig. 063) and three adjustment positions “A”
(Fig. 064), lever to absorb all the possible settings.
The fixing bracket has the cam chain tensioner system, the adjustments to the spring pressure.
