Check carefully and comply with the provisions of NR-31 – Norm for Safety and Health at Work in
Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry, Aquaculture and Forestry, which aims to establish the principles to be observed
in the organization and work environment, in order to make compatible the planning and development of the

MAIN RISKS OF ACCIDENTS AND SAFETY MEASUREMENTS TO BE ADOPTED
We recommend to carefully read this manual before accomplish the operations of assembling, adjustment,

Risk Safety Measures
Working Operation:
Risk of death
-Do not allow anyone to be at the ladder or over the protection of the fertilizer distributor system
during the working operation.
-Do no allow anyone to be on the bumpers or any other part of the implement.
Working Operation:
Risk of severe accidents
-Do not allow people or animals to approach the implement in operation.
Cardan and Straps Protectors:
Risk of severe accidents
-Do not remove the protective covers from the gimbal.
-Do not remove the protective cover of pulleys and belts, rotor beater rotors feeders.
-Be very careful when near the gimbal, belts or any moving part. Loose clothing, long hair,
rings, necklaces, etc. can be picked up by the mechanisms in motion and can cause very
serious accidents.
Tension Chain:
Risk of hand injuries.
-Never make the voltage regulation of the currents moving the implement.
-Look and listen if there is evidence of movement, only touch them if you are sure you are
stationary. Always be alert!
Operation of Work:
Risk of death to fall from planter
or tractor.
-Do not allow anyone to go up and remain on the implement during work operations.
-Do not allow anyone in the bumpers or other point of the tractor.
-Accidents can be caused if the person falling tractor or planter.
Irregular Work Lands:
Risk of severe accidents.
-Do the lay of the land, before starting work, demarcate hazardous locations or obstacles that
might endanger the operator and operation work.
-Always adjust the scroll speed to local conditions.
-Avoid abrupt maneuvers, especially in rough terrain.
-Uses extra caution when working on slopes.
Tractor Stops:
Risk of severe accidents.
-Never leave tractor with the engine running. For the engine, engage the parking brake and
remove the ignition key.
Moving the Implement from an
Area to Another:
Risks of severe accidents.
-Do not give ride. Do not allow anyone near the tractor or the implement during the displace-
ment from an area to another.
-When driving on the road or highways, always drive the tractor/ implement on the right lane of
the road, keeping the speed compatible and safe. Take care when driving with the implement
under power lines.
-Observe the traffic and safety rules, check the maximum height and width allowed for trans -
portation.
Connecting the Hydraulic Ho-
ses:
Risk of contamination and wou-
nds.
-Never disconnect the hydraulic hoses if they are under pressure.
-The pressure of the oil can perforate the skin or infecting any existing wounds.
-If any accident occur, immediately wash the affected location with plenty of warm water and
neutral soap, then seek for medical assistance.
