Connecting to a Host System

The following is an example of the IBM 5400-006 printer connected to a host
system: The number of work stations that can be connected to the host system is
defined as necessary by the host system or the user.

The IBM 5400-006 printer can be connected to host system directly or indirectly to
an IBM 5394/5494.

4.2.2 Connecting to a Parallel Port

The IBM 5400-006 printer is connected to an IBM PC or an RS/6000.
