Connecting to the Host System

Continue pressing Set Up Mode until the following message is displayed.

Printer Address
ð

If the message goes too far, press Line Feed until it returns.

Press Step Feed Up or Step Feed Down to select the address value at the
bottom of the LCD. In the following example, 3 is selected.

After selecting the printer address, press Entry. The Start lamp lights.

Press Cancel.

When formatting is finished, the IBM 5400-006 printer returns to the status
set just after the power is turned on. Wait a moment. (See 2.3.1, “Powering
On” on page 2-9.)
