Initializing the Printer

9. POR POSITION AD:

Specify the power on position adjustment.

10.Printer Address: Specify an address for the printer from 0 to 6. See the host

system operator or administrator for the value.

11. Ribbon Pre-alarm: Number of printings until "REPLACE RIBBON" is displayed.

Changes the number of printings between 50% and 200% at intervals of
10% until "REPLACE RIBBON" is displayed.

12.Copy Enhance: Used to enhance copy capability. Set to darken characters on

a form. For more information, see 2-15.

13.OCR-B Style: Select the OCR-B style

14.Power On State: Specify whether to disable or enable printing at power on.

If Enable is set, the following occurs:

If the Print switch is pushed before a connection is made with the
AS/400, printing is automatically enabled when the connection is made.

If the printer is in the Print mode and loses connection with the AS/400,
it automatically enters the Print mode when it is reconnected.
