ESC/P-C Items
20.Character Pitch Six kinds of SBCS character pitch are available. This setting is
not effective for DBCS characters.
21.International Character Set: Selects one of the international character sets and
one legal character set.
22.Automatic Line Feed: If the setting is “ON”, receiving CR code, line feed is
automatic.
23.AUTO FEED XT: Specifies whether to refer to the AUTO FEED XT interface
signal.
System Port Items
1.CHINESE DBCD: Traditional Chinese mode can be used interchangeably with
Simplified Chinese mode.
2.Print Mode: Select the printing speed and printing mode.
NLQ: Prints at normal printing speed.
Copy Enhance:
Used to enhance copy capability. Set to darken characters on
a form.
High Quality:
Used to print quality of a ruled line in one direction.
DP Mode: Used to print at a higher speed than NLQ. Print quality might
be poorer than NLQ. In applications where print quality must
be considered, check printing in advance.
Draft: Used to print at a higher speed than DP. Print quality might be
poorer than DP. In applications where print quality must be
considered, check printing in advance.
Copy E High Quality:
Used when copy enhance and high quality are required.
Copy E DP:
Used when copy enhance and high speed are required.
Copy E Draft:
Used when copy enhance and draft are required.

3.NATIVE SBCS Font: NATIVE SBCS character set. 9 different fonts are avail-
able.
4.ENGLISH SBCS Font: Alphanumeric character set. 9 different fonts are avail-
able.
5.CHINESE DBCS: Selects whether to use SIMPLIFIED CHINESE DBCS CODE
GB or GBK. This setting is no effective for traditional Chinese set.
6.SBCS Font Set: Specify whether to use Native SBCS Font or English SBCS.
7.Buzzer: Selects whether the buzzer sounds continuously or intermittently when
a paper or ribbon jam occurs or when the platen is released.
8.SI/SO ENLARGE: Specify whether to use SI/SO character enlargement.
