7.9.2 Emergency releasing the

parking brake

DANGER

Danger of severe injuries caused by unpro-

tected rolling of the machine when the park-

ing brake is released or emergency-released!

Always use the wheel chocks provided when

the machine is stopped!

If the vehicle is unable to generate the oil pres-

sure required to release the parking brake, the

parking brake can also be manually released.

NOTE

The active parking brake is deactivated. During

maintenance work secure the machine with

wheel chocks against accidental rolling away!

¾

Open the emergency releasing feature on the

hydraulic pump. Turn the hand wheel (a) clock-

wise to do so.

¾

Operate the hand pump (b), until a noticeably

resistance can be felt. The parking brake is

now released.

¾

Due to a possible leakage later pumping may

be necessary.

¾

After towing open the valve (a) again.

7.9.3 Towing

DANGER

Danger of severe injuries caused by the

machine rolling away! Always use the wheel

chocks provided when the machine is

stopped!

The vehicle can be towed by four towing eyes

on the frame.

These are located at the front and the rear on

the axles.

Towing eye

¾

Before towing pump the spraying mixture

tank empty.

¾

Operate the hand pump to release the park-

ing brake.

¾

Maximum permissible towing speed: 5 km/h.

¾

The vehicle must not be towed more than

2 km to the next parking opportunity!

¾

The diesel engine must be running throughout

the towing process, so that steering system

and service brake are fully functional.

¾

With the engine stopped no braking effect

can be guaranteed and the steering is very

hard to move in the emergency steering

mode. Towing must in any case be per-

formed only with the help of a towbar.

¾

Three-point hitching should in any case be

used for towing.

Example of three-point hitching
