¾
Never try to seal off leaking hydraulic hoses
with your hands or fingers. Fluids (hydraulic
oil) escaping under pressure can penetrate
the skin and enter into the body causing se-
vere injury! If injured by hydraulic oil, consult
a doctor immediately!
Danger of infection!
¾
Due to the possible danger of severe infec-
tions, one must use appropriate auxiliary
means when looking for leakages!
¾
Power sockets and connectors (electric,
pneumatic) should be identified by colour to
rule out operating errors.
¾
In order to avoid accidents caused by unde-
sired hydraulic movements or hydraulic move-
ments triggered by other persons (children,
passenger), the control units on the machine
must be secured or locked when not in use
or in transport position.
1.6.5 Electrical system
Always disconnect the battery (negative
pole) before starting work in the electric
system!
¾
Use only the specified fuses! The use of too
strong fuses will destroy the electric system.
Fire hazard!
¾
Make sure that the battery is correctly con-
nected. Connect the plus pole first and the
minus pole after! When disconnecting discon-
nect the negative pole first and the positive
pole after!
¾
Always cover the positive battery pole with the
dedicated covering.
Danger of explosion
in
case of short-circuit to ground!
¾
Avoid sparking and naked flames in the vicin
-
ity of the battery!
Danger of explosion!
¾
The machine can be equipped with electronic
components and parts, the function of which
can be affected by the transmission of electro
-
magnetic waves from other equipment. Such
influences can lead to the endangerment of
persons, if the following safety notes are not
complied with.
In case of a subsequent installation of elec-
tric appliances and/or components on the
machine, with connection to the on-board
power supply, the user in his own responsi-
bility must check whether this installation will
cause faults in the vehicle electronics or in
other components.
- Make sure that the subsequently installed
electric and electronic components are
in accordance with the valid issue of the
EMC-directive 2014/30/EEC and are identified
with the CE-sign.
1.6.6 Battery
¾
Maintenance work on the battery requires ap-
propriate knowledge and proper tools!
¾
Keep open fire, burning matches and sparks
away from the battery!
Danger of explosion!
¾
Never check the charge level of the battery
by connecting both poles to a metal object.
Use a Voltmeter.
¾
Do not recharge a frozen battery;
Danger of explosion!
Heat the battery up
to 16° C beforehand.
¾
Battery acid can cause severe injury by cau-
terization of skin and eyes. Wear suitable
protective clothing.
1.6.7 Cooling system
The heated up cooling system is under pressure!
You should therefore only remove the radiator
cap after the engine has been shut down and
cooled down.
Danger of injuring!
1.6.8 Brake system
¾
Adjustment and repair work on the brake
system must only be carried out in expert
workshops or established brake service
workshops.
¾
Immediately stop the machine in case of brake
system malfunctions. Have the malfunction
remedied immediately!
