7.8 Cruise control
WARNING
Danger of accident caused by improper op-
eration of the cruise control function! Drive
assistance systems have been developed
to support the driver. However, they cannot
replace his awareness!
When driving the vehicle, the driver takes on full
responsibility and must always pay attention to
the current traffic situation!
Cruise control settings can be made and
changed through the display and with the joy-
stick in the multi-function control unit.
NOTE
Two speeds can be set and saved both in road
mode and in field mode.
Setting via joystick
¾
Accelerate to the desired speed.
¾
Press and hold button (1), until and audible
signal sounds. The desired speed for cruise
control 1 has thereby been saved.

The procedure for cruise control 2 is identical.

Quit the cruise control setting by braking,
actuating the throttle pedal or joystick.
Setting via display
¾
Turn the button (3) to choose the desired
cruise control and press the button to activate.
¾
Turn to adjust the desired speed.
¾
Press again to confirm the desired speed.
The setting becomes effective immediately.
¾
The acceleration process of the cruise control
can be adjusted on the bar (4) via the rotary
button.
¾
The setting is stored and accepted by pushing
the button.
¾
The deceleration process of the cruise control
during braking can be adjusted on the bar (5)
via the rotary button.
¾
The setting is stored and accepted by pushing
the button.
¾
Press ESC to leave the settings level.

Quit the cruise control setting by braking,
actuating the throttle pedal or joystick.
If no cruise control is set, the display will show
the pre-selection symbol. As soon as a cruise
control is chosen and activated, the number
of the selected cruise control will additionally
be displayed.
