4.13.9 Setting the air temperature
inside the cabin

Press button (1) to reduce the nominal tempera-
ture value inside the cabin.
Prolonged actuation of the button (1) reduces the
nominal temperature value from 32°C (89.6°F)
to 15°C (59°F) within 3 seconds.
The lowest temperature is reached when the
display in the control panel shows “LO”.
Press button (2) to increase the nominal tem-
perature value inside the cabin.
Prolonged actuation of the button (2) increases
the nominal temperature value from 15°C (59°F)
to 32°C (89.6°F) within 3 seconds.
The highest temperature is reached when the
display in the control panel shows “HI”.
4.13.10 Use in a contaminated
working environment

If a activated-carbon filter (category 3) for fil -
tering the cabin air is detected in the system,
symbols "Chemical" (1) and "Auto" (2) light up
in the dashboard.
The system will save the parameters that were
active before the installation of the activated-
carbon filter.
Air circulation will be automatically controlled
again. The system will try to maintain a perma-
nent overpressure in the cabin by changing the
recirculation quota and the fan power.
In this mode the system works fully autonomous.
The system only requires the nominal tempera-
ture value inside the cabin.

Press button (3) to reduce the nominal tem-
perature value

Press button (4) to increase the nominal tem-
perature value.
The system controls the following parameters:
•
the fan power
•
opening of the heating valve
•
the cooling system
•
opening of the air circulation nozzles (ventilation
nozzles for flow direction and air circulation)
In order to deactivate the function mode “Chemi-
cal”, the activated-carbon filter must be replaced
by a standard air filter.
The system will save the parameters that were
active before the installation of the activated-
carbon filter.
Air circulation will be controlled again in manual
mode.
