Operation in “HEAT” mode
1.
Condition for compressor ON.
When temperature detected inside the room (
Tr
sensor) is lower than set temperature
Ts
reduced by 1°C,
compressor starts. Therefore, the condition is the following: Tr < (Ts - 1)°C.

Condition for compressor OFF.
When temperature detected inside the room (
Tr
sensor) is equal or higher than set temperature
Ts
increased
by 3°C, compressor stops. Therefore, the condition is the following: Tr ≥ (Ts + 1)°C.

Anticold drafts’ prevention at start.
When system operates in Heating mode, Indoor Unit’s fan speed may be set to “High” speed, “Medium” speed,
“Low” speed or “Auto” speed, by using IR remote control.
However, anticold drafts prevention function during start in Heating mode, has the priority as regards setting by
IR remote control. This function consists in rotation control of Indoor Unit’s fan, according to temperature detected
on Indoor Unit’s heat exchanger by
TP1
sensor.
If temperature on Indoor Unit’s heat exchanger detected by
TP1
sensor is lower than 25°C, Indoor Unit’s fan
does not start.
If temperature on Indoor Unit’s heat exchanger detected by
TP1
sensor is higher than 25°C but lower than 30°C,
Indoor Unit’s fan will rotate at “Ultra-Low” speed (or “Breeze”, fan speed which cannot be selected by User
through IR remote control).
If temperature on Indoor Unit’s heat exchanger by
TP1
sensor is higher than 30°C but lower than 36°C, Indoor
Unit’s fan will rotate at “Low” speed.
As soon as temperature on Indoor Unit’s heat exchanger detected by
TP1
sensor will be equal or higher than
36°C, Indoor Unit’s fan will rotate according to the speed set by IR remote control.

4.
Protection against overheating of Indoor Unit’s heat exchanger (thermal overload in Heating mode).
When, during Operation in Heating mode, temperature detected by
TP1
sensor on Indoor Unit’s heat exchanger
is ≥ 56°C, Outdoor Unit’s fan is stopped by the intervention of thermal overload protection in Heating mode.
The intervention of protection ends as soon as temperature detected by
TP1
sensor on Indoor Unit’s heat
