Malfunction of
Outdoor Unit
(following of previous page)
4. Check if condenser (heat exchanger on
Outdoor Unit) is not dirty outside, etc. Clean
it, if it is necessary.
5. Check Outdoor Unit’s fan motor il motor
and corresponding condenser. Replace the
component eventually broken.
6. If all checks carried out at previous items
(from 1. to 5.) have negative result, replace
Control PCB on Indoor Unit.

Malfunction of
indoor fan motor
(return signal)
1. Check if both connectors of wires coming
out of fan motor are properly inserted on
corresponding bases on PCB.
2. Check if indoor fan motor is not damaged.
If necessary, replace it.
3. On Indoor Unit’s PCB, check if Control
CPU and other components are not
damaged. If necessary, replace the broken
component or the PCB.

Malfunction of
indoor fan motor
(no rotation)
1. Check fan wheel of fan motor: can it rotate
freely?
2. On Indoor Unit’s Control PCB, check if
there is output signal on contacts for fan
motor. Otherwise, replace the PCB.

1. Inspect air filters on Indoor Unit’s air inlet
and eventually clean them, if it is necessary.
2. Check if indoor fan rotates properly. If
necessary, replace fan motor.
3. Check temperature sensor
TP1
on Indoor
Unit’s heat exchanger ([*] R-T values) and
replace it if necessary.
4. Check pressure value on refrigerant
circuit. If there are malfunctions, inspect the
circuit searching for eventual refrigerant
leakages. If there are leakages, eliminate
them. Then discharge all refrigerant and
recover it, carry out vacuum again and
recharge R410A refrigerant.
Note [*]:
Tables R-T of sensors’ resistances values, according to temperature, are indicated both in
“Section 3:
Electrical Data”
and in this
“Section 6: Diagnostic & Maintenance”
of this Technical Manual.
