If, on the basis of above considered parameters, the presence of frost on Outdoor Unit’s heat exchanger is
supposed, automatic defrosting is started, with reversal of refrigerant cycle as regards operation in Heating
mode.
During automatic defrosting, Outdoor Unit’s fan and Indoor Unit’s fan will be stopped, while 4-way valve
moves to OFF position (position for operation in Cooling mode) and compressor will be started.
While automatic defrosting is in progress, LED Display on Indoor Unit will show “dF” indication.
