Case 3: Only indoor fan motor does not operate
Primary check
(1)
Is it possible to detect the power supply voltage (200~240V) between “L” and “N” on Indoor Unit’s terminal
block?
(2)
If system operates in Cooling mode, does Indoor Unit’s fan motor operate properly?
Turn off power
supply once, and
turn it on again.
Start to operate
system in Cooling
mode at airflow
level “LOW” and
wait 3 minutes.
Does
compressor
continue to
operate?
Does Indoor
Unit’s fan operate?
Fan motor
operates
normally.
Is it possible to detect AC
220V between pin “H”/“M”/“L”
and pin common, on fan
motor’s connector?
Turn off system and check if is
it possible to rotate Indoor
Unit’s fan by hand.
Replace Indoor
Unit’s PCB.
Replace motor’s
condenser.
Replace indoor
fan’s motor.
Replace fan’s
bearing.
Inspect condenser of
fan motor: is it OK?
