Safety shield
➜ Move the flask lift upward
➜ Hang the safety shield to the edge of
the heating bath and position it so that
the (potentially present) safety hood
can be lifted open easily.
➜ Turn the eccentric screw 180° and
use to secure the safety shield on the
heating bath.

Inlet valve
(Optional accessories) Assembly parts:
▪ 2x inlet hose
▪ 1x inlet valve
During a running process, the sample flow
for the distillation is metered via the inlet
valve.
✓ The glassware set is under vacuum.
➜ Turn the inlet valve counterclockwise.
✓ The in-feed is opened, and the distillate
is drawn into the evaporating flask.
✓ The more you open the inlet valve, the
faster your sample will be supplied.
➜ Turn the inlet valve clockwise.
✓ The in-feed is reduced, or the inflow of
the sample is stopped.

All glassware sets (with the exception of glassware set G1) have a screw opening on the
lower left side of the condenser to accommodate the inlet hose with the inlet valve.
