1. Flask lift
Immersing the flask lift
Immerse the flask in the heating bath only so far that it does not touch
the edge or the bottom.
For adjusting the immersion depth and flask angle, see Chapter
“Assembly”, Section “Evaporating Flask: Angle and immersion depth”.
Immersing the flask: Manual lift
➜ Press the manual lift lever downward.
➜ While pressed, move the manual lift
lever to the left for lowering or to the
right for raising.
➜ Release the manual lift lever at the
desired position.
✓ The manual lift locks in the corre-
sponding position.

Immersing the flask: Motor lift
✓ The device is switched on.
➜ Press the up or down lift button.
➜ Release the lift button at the desired
flask position.
✓ The motor lift will stop.
You can also set that the flask is automati -
cally lowered at the start of the processes
(see Section “Settings”).

2. Heating bath
Filling the heating bath
✓ The evaporating flask is immersed in the heating bath at the correct position.
➜ Fill the heating bath with the heating fluid at most up the upper mark.
✓ The liquid level is within the minimum and the maximum mark.
Connecting the heating bath
Warning:
Risk of crushing! Risk of burns!
If the device is switched on, the heating or rotation can be started
unintentionally. This may injure and burn your hands.
Connect the heating bath to the device base only when the device is
switched off.
