Process sequence
Performing a system check
After switching on the device, you can check in the overview list if all components are
connected.
➜ Open the menu “Basic settings” with
the symbol .
➜ In the menu “Basic settings”, tap the
symbol “System check” at bottom left.
✓ The list of attached components is
displayed:
▪ first, components which are not
attached (tagged with a yellow
triangle)
▪ followed by the attached
components (tagged with a green
checkmark).
If an attached component is not indicated:
➜ check the connections and restart the
device.
If peripheral devices, such as chillers and vacuum pump, are not
attached, the corresponding indications are grayed out in all menu
windows. Consequently, it is not possible to adjust their parameters.
Selecting an application
Depending on the desired process sequence, you can choose between two different appli -
cations:
▪ Basic : Here, you manually adjust the
basic parameters (vacuum, rotation
and temperature) before starting the
evaporation.
▪ Extended : Here, you can create and
use individual favorites or ramp profiles
or select the automatic process control.
➜ Tap “Applications” in the menu “Basic
settings”.
➜ Select the desired application and
confirm with the green checkmark.
When you have selected the application “Extended”, you can choose one of the following
modes:
