Using and managing ramp profiles (Application
“Extended”)
A ramp profile consists of a sequence of several individual process steps.
Just like saving favorites, the saving of ramp profile allows fast access to suitable process
sequences for your various samples.
A ramp profile is suited for the distillation of mixtures. At the end of a process, it is
possible to determine for each parameter individually if it is to be maintained or stopped.
You access the ramp profile mode in the application “Extended”. In the ramp profile mode
you can:
▪ generate new ramp profiles
▪ open an existing ramp profile directly by means of two quick-selection buttons
Warning:
Risk of injury near the device!
When operating with ramp profiles, the rotation speed, the heating
bath temperature and, if needed, the lift position are automatically
changed.
Maintain a safe distance from all parts of the device when it is
switched on and especially when a ramp profile is in operation.
➜ In order to start the ramp profile mode ,
tap the symbol in the menu bar depicting
the operating mode that was used last.
✓ The symbols of the three modes are
displayed.
➜ Tap the “ramp profile mode” symbol.
1. Generating ramp profiles
✓ You are in the ramp profile mode of the application “Extended”.
➜ Swipe the screen from right to left to
switch to the list of ramp profiles.
➜ Tap the “New” symbol.
✓ You switch to the ramp profile view.
