a. In the Position column, type the beginning position of the field in the data string
(from 1 to 300).
b. In the Length column, type the number of characters (from 1 to 99) that the field
contains.
2. For Gender Format , select Fixed or Configured .
If you select Configured :
a. Type the character that identifies Male .
b. Type the character that identifies Female .
3. Below Fixed Option , select the applicable value:
4. Scroll to the bottom of the window, and select Save .
All changes take effect immediately.
