7.5 Rotary Chuck
The rotary chuck option provides the S290LS with the ability to engrave on cylindrical or spherical
objects. In addition to the standard X, Y, Z axis, the rotary attachment allows for a fourth axis which
rotates your object 360° to allow for engraving on cups, wine glasses, and other cylindrical or circular
objects.

Maximum Loading Weight 4 kg (8.8 lbs.)
Minimum Diameter 0.5 mm (0.02 inches)
Maximum Diameter 120 mm (4.7 inches)
INSTALLATION:
1) Turn off the power of the engraver.
2) Set the Rotary Chuck onto the working table so that the bottom mounting screws correspond to
the positional holes on the working table. In addition, the clamping end of the Rotary Chuck
must be leveled against the working table with the rotary’s positional indicator (center point of
the clamping end of the Rotary Chuck) aligned to the center position on the laser engraver’s Y
(vertical) axis.
3) With the Rotary Chuck properly positioned, tighten the mounting screws to secure the device.
4) Open the front door panel of the laser machine and connect the Rotary Chuck cable to the
connection port located on the machine chassis, and close the front door. (shown in the
picture below).
