14 For version "without predilution": 1. Lock the hose cassettes in place in
the retainer.
2. Make sure the hose cassette is seated
correctly in the retainer.
3. Use the dosing nozzle of the injector
to expand the hose end of the
condensate hose.
4. Connect the P1 suction side.
5. Place the pump side of the
condensate hose into a glass of water.
6. Press the [>] key to fill the hose with
sample.
7. Check the drip pattern of the sample
hose and check the air bubbles in the
glass of water (even feed rate).
You can now check the contact pressure
of the hose cassette:
1. Release the adjusting screw (item 8)
until no more medium is conveyed
(air bubbles).
2. Now tighten the adjusting screw
until the unit starts to pump medium
again. Even medium delivery should
be visible across all pump heads.
3. Tighten the adjusting screw one
revolution.
4. Reconnect the pressure side of the
condensate hose.
15 If required, you can measure the capacity
of pump hose P1.
1. Secure or hold the 10 ml graduated
cylinder close to pump P1.
2. Guide hose P1 into the graduated
cylinder.
3. Press the [>] key so pump P1 is
operating at 100% capacity for 60 s.
You can enter the new value after 60
seconds.
The value typically lies between 5.5 and 7
ml (0.18 and 0.24 fl.oz).
