Note!
Adjust the pH sensor after cleaning the strip and separation chamber (see the "Adjusting the pH
sensor" section).
7. Use the pliers to remove the magnetic stir bar (item 10) from the separation chamber (item 8).
8. Empty the separation chamber (item 8) with the injector (withdrawn by suction).
9. Connect the empty injector to the suction needle for the sample (connection P2).
10. Using the injector, inject air quickly and force the glass bead out of the bore hole. To make it easier to
remove the glass bead, you can release the coupling (item 4) and release the separation chamber from
the strip chamber.
11. Clean the chambers with a soft brush. In the event of severe fouling, you can separate the strip
chamber and separation chamber from one another by releasing the securing screw. For complete
removal, you must disconnect the connector of the magnetic stirrer controller.
12. Clean the pH sensor (see the Brief Operating Instructions of the pH sensor).
13. Insert a new glass ball.
14. Insert the magnetic stir bar. The thin shaft points upwards.
15. Put the cover on the separation chamber and tighten the thread adapter nut hand-tight.
16. Put the hose onto the coupling and screw the coupling (item 6) closed.
17. Insert the pH sensor and connect the cable.
18. Screw the thread adapter nut hand-tight.
19. Clean the glass frit or replace it. Reinstall the glass frit, the O-ring (item 13) and the coupling.
20. Press the [E] key.

7 The strip and separation chamber are
automatically flushed with pressurized
water for 180 s.
