Adjusting the packing efficiency
Adjust the spacing between the packing wheels ( B ) as
required.
The farther apart the wheels are, the less
efficient the
packing is.
Proceed as outlined below.
1) Remove the pins (
A
) from both packing wheels.
2) Open out the packing wheels (
B
) as required and
then lock them in position with the pins (
A
).
3) Adjust the scrapers (
C
) accordingly (see “Adjusting
the packing wheel scraper”).
Adjusting the Plant Control
The plant control device stops the seedlings falling
downwards before they are ejected. Move the device down for smaller seedlings and up for
taller seedlings.
Proceed as outlined below.
1) Loosen the nut (
A
).
2) Adjust the device (
B
) as required.
3) After adjustment, tighten the nut (
A
).
