4.1 Function operation guide

The settings and use methods of the reconstructed any IF output will be described below. The function of the
reconstructed any IF output is only applicable to the transient analysis in the I/Q analysis mode and signal
analysis mode. The different signal types can be selected for the output ports of narrowband I, narrowband Q,
broadband I (differential output port) and broadband Q (differential output port) on the rear panel by setting
reconstructed signal output. The corresponding relation is shown as Table 4.1. From the above table, it can be
seen that the reconstructed any IF output, AM/FM demodulation output, I/Q demodulation output and detector
cannot remain valid at the same time.

The step configuration is carried out for the reconstructed IF output bandwidth within 100 Hz - 200 MHz on
the basis of 1-2-5. Only when the 40 MHz broadband digital IF (option H38A) or 200 MHz broadband digital
IF (option H38B) is configured is the function of reconstructed IF output enabled, while the any IF output
(option H04A) is being configured. The output range of IF and bandwidth vary with different options selected,
the specific mapping relation is shown in Table 4.2.

The IF can be set with number keys, Up/Down stepping keys and knob in the [Reconstructed IF

] menu in
the [Reconstructed Signal Output ▶ ] menu by pressing 【 Input/Output 】 key on the front panel.
The Series Signal Analyzer applies different frequency conversion plans for different wavebands, so the IF
output signal spectrum may invert in comparison with the RF input signal spectrum, that is, the left and right
