2.2 Safe operating manual

14) To ensure the best measurement effect, the instrument should be working at associated state as much as
possible.
15) When the tested signal is overloaded, the attenuator or the reference level should be adjusted to display
the signal peak under the top division of the screen.
16) Users are prohibited to delete ex-factory data of the instrument.
17) Open Windows environment is adopted in the analyzer; and the user is prohibited to modify BIOS setup,
or it will result in abnormal startup and work of the analyzer;
18) Users can only delete the files they store rather than the system file.
19) Before transmitting files with USB interface and Internet port, you should ensure the security and
reliability of the carrier to avoid virus infection of the instrument.
20) Addresses of GPIB and Internet access should be correctly set when GPIB or Internet access is used to
form the testing system.
21) In case of instrument failure, it is prohibited to disassemble the instrument, and instead, you should send it
to the manufacturer for repair.
2.2.5 Maintenance
1) The instrument chassis must be opened by an authorized operator who has received special technical
training. The power cord should be disconnected before operation, so as to avoid instrument damages and
even personal injuries.
2) The instrument should be repaired, replaced and maintained by special electronic engineers of the
manufacturer, and the replaced or maintained parts must be subject to safety tests to ensure the safety of
subsequent operation.
2.2.6 Battery and Power Supply Module
Carefully read relevant information before using the battery and power supply module, so as to avoid
explosion, fire and even personal injuries. Precautions for battery use:
1) Do not damage the battery.
2) The battery and power supply module must not be exposed to flame and other heat sources. They must be
prevented from direct sunlight and should be kept clean and dry in storage. Clean the connection port of
the battery or power supply module with clean and dry soft cloth.
3) Do not make the battery or power supply module short-circuited. As the short circuit may be easily caused
by mutual contact or contact with other conductors, several batteries or power supply modules must not be
stored in the same carton or drawer. Do not remove the original package until the battery and power
supply module are required.
4) The battery and power supply module must be prevented from mechanical impact.
5) The leaky battery must not contact with the skin or eyes. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of clean
water and immediately seek medical help.
6) Use the standard battery and power supply module provided by the manufacturer. Any improper
replacement or charging of alkaline batteries (such as lithium batteries) may easily result in explosion.
7) The waste battery and power supply module should be recovered and disposed separately with other
wastes. The battery contains toxic substances. It must be discarded or recycled according to the local
provisions.
2.2.7 Transportation
1) The heavy instrument must be handled carefully. If necessary, use tools (such as the crane) to move the
instrument to prevent damage to the body.
