4051 series signal/spectrum analyzer is compatible only to two remote control interfaces: LAN and GPIB. As
shown in the following table:

Note 1: VISA stands for Virtual Instrumentation Software Architecture, which is a standard software interface
function library. Users may use the library to control the instrument via such interfaces as GPIB, LAN and
USB. Users should firstly install VISA library on the control computer and use it to remotely control the
instrument. See the User Manual of the VISA library to be installed for more details.
