7. Align the clamping face of the top half of the grip to the bottom and carefully press it

down to compress the spring.

8. Ensure the pivot hole of the grip halves are aligned and press the dowel into the grip. If

needed, gently tap the dowel against the surface of the table or with a small mallet while
