General
The General tab displays general acquisition information. The screen below shows
the general acquisition while in the PHA mode.

No. of Channels
The Input size determines the amount of acquisition memory, in number of channels
that the Lynx assigns to the currently selected Input number. The value can range
from 256 channels to 32768 channels. Each channel can store up to 2
32
-1 (approx.
4.29B) counts.
For Input #1, the Input Size represents the number of channels, or granularity, of the
digitized PHA value over the full energy range of the input signal.
For Input #2, the Input Size represents the number of channels, or sequential bins,
into which the time-correlated data (based on the current dwell time) will be stored
into.
Preset Options
Select from Real time , Live time , or None which disables the Preset Limits fields.
