Control Polarity
When External
Start/Stop
control is
enabled
, the Polarity selection selects
rising/falling edge when pulse edge is expected, or TTL-High/Low when TTL-Level
is expected. Refer to the individual settings above for details.
MCS Mode (Input 2)
Input 2 supports only MCS mode. When this acquisition mode is selected a new
group of tabs appear in the window. The
General
tab is shown.

No. of Channels
The Input size determines the amount of acquisition memory, in number of
channels that the Lynx assigns to the currently selected Input number. The value
can range from 256 channels to 32768 channels. Each channel can store up to
232-1 (approx. 4.29B) counts.
The Input Size represents the number of channels, or sequential bins, into which
the time-correlated data (based on the current dwell time) will be stored into.
Dwell
Defines the length of time events are stored for each channel. The Lynx supports
a dwell value ranging from 1 microsecond to 999 seconds.
Preset Options
The only
Preset Option
(other than None) is the number of sweeps to be
acquired. The value is defined by the
Preset Sweeps
.
