Making changes through the ‘legacy’ HTML web page
From the
Network
menu item, select the
General
tab, select the
DHCP
radio
button, then press
Submit
button to save the change.
Communication to the Lynx will be lost until the Lynx is physically disconnected
from the PC and connected to the Network via the “straight-through” cable
connection. Communication between the PC and Lynx can be re-established after the
PC’s Network Adapter is [re]configured to utilize DHCP. See section below.
Change Lynx’s Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) Settings
Lynx parameters associated with the UPnP discovery are the UPnP Enable, UPnP
Friendly Name, and UPnP Time-to-Live settings.
Changes for the UPnP discovery in the Lynx must be made while communicating to
the Lynx, either through a direct connection to your PC using the “crossover” cable,
or indirectly using the “straight-through” cable while connected to the network.
Making changes through the Web Client application
1.
From the navigator view select Maintenance | Network Settings | UPnP.
2.
Select desired Friendly Name, increase the Time-to-Live value if needed,
check the [UPnP] Enable checkbox. When done, accept changes by pressing
the
Save
button.
